Ottawa – The City of Ottawa has issued a Request For Information (RFI) for all parties that would like to participate in constructing and contributing to a vending concept for two signature stalls in the soon-to-be developed George Street Plaza in the ByWard Market. The RFI was announced today by Mayor Jim Watson during the launch of the City’s Autumn in the City program.
This initiative is part of Council’s long-term plan for the redevelopment of the ByWard Market. As part of the strategic vision for the renewal project, the City would like to develop unique signature stalls to border the plaza area near the heritage market building. The RFI is being issued to gauge public interest in sponsorship opportunities for these two signature stalls in the area.
The deadline for submissions is the end of business on Friday, November 4. Inquires must be emailed no later than Friday October 7. All submissions and inquiries must be emailed to kim.copeland@ottawa.ca.
