An investigation continues into a single-vehicle crash on Highway 401 near South Stormont Township Wednesday night that claimed the life of a 59-year-old trucker from Montreal.
Ontario Provincial Police said the westbound tractor-trailer left the road at about 8:45 p.m. and overturned in the median area between Moulinette and Dickinson roads in the township, about 95 kilometres southeast of Ottawa.
The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of next of next-of-kin.
The westbound lanes were reopened at 8 a.m. Thursday.
