Ottawa –Greenfield Avenue between King Edward Avenue and the westbound Highway 417 on-ramp will be closed from Friday, September 30 at 10 p.m. to Monday, October 3 at 7 a.m. The closure will occur to facilitate the replacement of the Mann Avenue Transitway Bridge as part of O-Train Confederation Line project.

A signed detour for motorists, pedestrians and cyclists will be in place. Vehicles travelling on Lees Avenue, Mann Avenue and King Edward Avenue will not be able to access Greenfield Avenue. Those looking to access the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp on Greenfield are advised to take Laurier Avenue West to the Nicholas Street on-ramp. Vehicles travelling westbound on Greenfield Avenue will still be able to access the Highway 417 westbound on-ramp.

An overnight noise exemption has been approved for this work. Noise levels are expected to be moderate to high.
