How to deal with parking tickets in Hull

My car is licensed in Quebec. I received a parking ticket this evening. How do I reduce the cost(15+12=$27)?

I think you should need a very good excuse for your improper parking.
Sorry, I can't help more because I never got ticket. But I did see someone took photoes of the improper parking using digital camera.
So I think they must have sufficient evidence to give you the ticket.
BTW, I'd like to know how you pay less if you success. Good luck

If it is your fault, do not hesitate, just pay for it. If you go to the court and argue it, but fail, then you should pay $7 more. For big ticket, such as several hundred dollar, maybe you can ask for some labour job instead, but I am not sure. (I also got a $27 ticket because of parking over time, and just paid it)
