Ottawa – Beginning Tuesday, October 11, Belfast Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Trainyards Driveway and St. Laurent Boulevard, for up to eight weeks. The reductions are needed as part of Confederation Line construction between Belfast Yard and OC Transpo headquarters.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the construction period and access will be maintained to businesses in the construction zone. Work will take place weekdays during daytime working hours only.
The O-Train Confederation Line is an Ottawa on the Move project. Ottawa on the Move is about keeping our community and economy moving forward through strategic investments in a number of transportation, water, and sewer projects to build a better city and create jobs.
