A man who went missing from an Ottawa halfway house last week is back behind bars after police responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Tim Hortons outlet on Montreal Road and Vanier Parkway.
Jordan Land, who signed out of the halfway house on Oct. 6, was serving the remainder of a two-year sentence for a 2014 conviction for possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, mischief and causing a riot.
Land, 30, was arrested two days later on a Canada-wide warrant.
