Thomas Ahearn monument reinstalled at Lansdowne Park

Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson, Councillor David Chernushenko and Councillor Diane Deans will join Thomas Ahearn’s family to celebrate the reinstallation of the refurbished Thomas Ahearn monument, which honours this visionary Ottawa inventor.


Date: Friday, October 14

Time: 11 a.m.

Place: Lansdowne Park, corner of Holmwood Avenue & Bank Street


This will be an outdoor event and attendants are advised to dress weather-appropriate.


Paid parking is available at Lansdowne Park.
