Police are seeking a female suspect following a September break-and-enter in Stittsville where a credit card was stolen and later used on a west-end shopping spree.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman captured on surveillance video, who allegedly broke into a Stittsville home in the 0-100 block of Smoketree Crescent overnight on Sept. 3 and helped herself to a number of items, including a credit card.

Police said the card was later used on purchases at various west end locations a short time later.

The suspect is described as a white female, 30- to 40-years-old, with a medium build, long blonde hair, sometimes worn in a ponytail. At the time, the suspect was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black plaid hat, and black pants.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa police break & enter unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2635.
