He just wanted a burger to go along with his coke.
Unfortunately for one 20-year-old suspect, the burger joint was closed and it turned out the coke was no cola.
Police in Smiths Falls said they were called to a local restaurant after closing time Oct. 16 to deal with an intoxicated man who was “insisting on getting a hamburger from the employee.”
The man was still “demanding” grub even after police arrived, and refusing to leave.
Police first arrested him for public intoxication, then allegedly found he was carrying two grams of cocaine.
Evan Freeman, 20, of Brockville was held in custody.
