Cyclist seriously hurt in collision with car

A 47-year-old male cyclist suffered multiple injuries to his head, neck and one of his legs in a collision with a car Sunday afternoon on St. Laurent Boulevard and Montreal Road, Ottawa Paramedics said.

The man was taken to hospital with “serious injuries,” superintendent François Côté said.

The intersection was closed for time but later reopened to traffic.
