Two men suffered stab wounds in an altercation on Somerset Street East between Nelson Street and Sweetland Avenue on Sunday.
Paramedics were called to the scene near the Sandy Hill Community Centre at 9:48 p.m., where they found a 39-year-old man who had been stabbed in the leg. He was taken to hospital in serious condition.
The other man, 24, had been stabbed in the arm and was in stable condition in hospital.
Ottawa police were investigating.
