- Democrats Abroad in Canada are having what they are calling “Ottawa’s biggest election night viewing party” at the Heart & Crown in the ByWard Market, where the results will be up on the big screen all day and night, and all are invited to attend for a night of “strong opinions and peaceful democracy.” The party begins at 5 p.m. and goes until it all ends — or the bar closes, 67 Clarence Ave.
- The uOttawa Conservatives are holding a party at the Earl of Sussex, from 8 to 11 p.m., 431 Sussex Dr. No word from this group if all political stripes are welcome.
- Lieutenant’s Pump, 361 Elgin St. from 7 p.m.
- Bar Le Tonik, Université de Québéc en Outaouais, 283 Bol. Alexandre-Taché, Gatineau, from 8 p.m.
- Canadian International Council is hosting an event, including trivia and live screening of results and speeches from 8 pm., The Red Lion Public House, 47 Clarence St. Cover: $5-$10, includes a pint or glass of wine.
- Have nummy eats at the State of the Union election party at Union 613, where $35 gets you access to two food stations and canapés, 315 Somerset St. W. from 7 p.m.
