Ottawa police are investigating after graffiti depicting a Nazi swastika and the initials KKK (of the Ku Klux Klan) were spray-painted on the wall of a west-end school over the weekend.
According to police on Monday, the controversial symbols were left on a brick wall at the Bridlewood Community Elementary School at 63 Bluegrass Dr. in Kanata. School officials contacted police at around 9:30 a.m. Monday to report the graffiti.
A police investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 613-236-1222 (TIPS).
