Three people displaced by apartment fire in Ottawa's south end

Three people, including two children, were displaced Saturday after a fire severely damaged a rowhouse apartment at 3 Finch Private, near Uplands Drive, in the city’s south end.

Firefighters were called to the address shortly after 2 p.m. Residents had safely left the building before firefighters arrived.

The fire was declared under control at about 2:16 p.m.

There were no injuries.

Cause of the blaze remains unknown and there was no dollar estimate on the damages.
