This is a non-profit club. 我们已经举办了五期，非常成功，孩子 leadership, public speaking 水平有了很大提高。老师是 Barrhaven adult Toastmasters Member for 9 years，完全是免费义务教孩子，非常有责任心，效果很好. Previous students are from Colonel By IB, Lisgar, Ashbury, Earl of March, Bell High, Longfields, etc
Some kids in this club were invited to give a public speech to Ottawa school board, and others were selected to present at Civic Hospital volunteer resources center.

WHO - Students 13 to 17 years old
WHEN - 周六下午 1:00pm - 2:30pm, 8 weeks

The club provides a safe and supportive environment for students to practice the skills learned in the workshops.
Club meetings take place each weekend and are facilitated by adult Toastmasters.

WORKSHOPS
1. Basic Public Speaking Skills
8-week workshop that teaches stage presence, overcoming nervousness, and using vocal variety, gestures and powerful language.
2. Intermediate Communication and Leadership Skills
8-week workshop focused on developing listening skills, providing effective evaluations, and delivering speeches that inspire others.
3. Advanced Leadership Skills
8-week workshop designed to develop business skills including business planning, project management, facilitation, and interviewing skills.

没有密级版. Improving public speaking skill is a long way to go. Many adult toastmaters have been in Toastmasters club for more than ten years. Our basic workshop is only eight weeks.
