A 29-year-old woman from Morrisburg, Ont. has been charged with abandoning a child following a 10-day investigation, the Ontario Provincial Police said Thursday.
While the toddler did not suffer any injuries, he was left unattended in a car for several hours overnight Sunday, Nov. 6 to Monday, Nov. 7, the OPP said.
The car was parked at a property on County Road 4 in the South Dundas Township.
The woman, who was arrested Monday, has since been released and is expected to appear in court on Dec. 6.
