Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect in at least one gas station robbery late last month.
The robbery occurred at about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 22, when a man threatened an employee at a gas station in the 1500 block of Woodroffe Avenue, grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash from the till and fled.
No weapon was seen.
Police suspect he might also have committed a similar robbery about three hours later at a gas station in the 3500 block of Strandherd Drive.
The suspect was described as black, tall and skinny, wearing a black hooded shirt hood, black round sunglasses, light-coloured jeans, and white running shoes with a black stripe on the heel.
