Mayor Jim Watson will be joined by city councillors, Skate Canada CEO Debra Armstrong, Ottawa Senators president Cyril Leeder, Spartacat and retired Senators defenceman Chris Phillips for the official opening of the rink at Ottawa city hall.
The festivities kick off at noon on Thursday at Marion Dewar Plaza.
