Westbound Highway 417 closed at March Road (Almonte/Carp) this weekend

Ottawa – All westbound lanes of Highway 417 at March Road (Almonte/Carp) will be closed this weekend due to Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) construction work on the highway. This section of westbound lanes will close beginning Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m. and all westbound lanes will reopen on Monday, December 5 by noon. This work will not impact the section of Highway 417 at March/Eagleson.


During this time, all Highway 417 westbound traffic will be detoured to the March Road westbound off-ramp and back on the highway at the westbound March Road on-ramp.‎


Next weekend, all eastbound lanes of Highway 417 will be closed at March Road (Almonte/Carp), beginning at noon on Friday, December 9 and all eastbound lanes will reopen on Monday, December 12 at 5 a.m. During the closure, traffic will be detoured to the eastbound March Road off-ramp and back on the highway at eastbound March Road on-ramp.
