Ottawa – Daly Avenue, between Nicholas Street and Waller Street, will be closed on Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m. until Sunday, December 4 at 6 p.m. This work is required to undertake sewer and connection upgrades of City services for the expansion of the Ottawa Art Gallery and redevelopment of Arts Court project.
During this work, controlled vehicular access will be maintained for nearby hotels and the Arts Court main entrance. The south sidewalk of Daly Avenue/Nicholas Street leading to the Arts Court and the north sidewalk of Daly Avenue will not be affected.
OC Transpo customers are advised that Routes 1, 7 and 9 will be detoured due to the westbound closure of Daly between Waller and Nicholas. The bus stop on the north side of Daly at Nicholas will be out of service; customers are to use Mackenzie King Station. Eastbound traffic on Daly will be maintained, although lanes will be adjusted in the vicinity of the work zone, which may cause delays. Transit customers should allow a few extra minutes for their travel. For more information visit octranspo.com
