Ottawa – All eastbound lanes of Highway 417 at March Road (Almonte/Carp) will be closed this weekend due to Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) construction work on the highway. This section of eastbound lanes will close beginning Friday, December 9 at noon and all eastbound lanes will reopen on Monday, December 12 by 5 a.m. This work will not impact the section of Highway 417 at March/Eagleson.
During this time, all Highway 417 eastbound traffic will be detoured to the March Road eastbound off-ramp and back on the highway at the eastbound March Road on-ramp.
