Brace yourself for a challenging Monday morning commute: Environment Canada says a storm beginning Sunday night was expected to blanket the city with 10 to 15 centimetres of snow.
The agency issued a special weather statement about the snowfall, brought on by a developing Colorado low.
Monday was expected to remain cloudy, with the temperature steady around -5. For Tuesday, a mix of sun and cloud is forecast, with a high of 0.
And it looks like we’ll see more snow this week, with a 40-per-cent chance of flurries on Tuesday and Wednesday — along with a 30-per-cent chance on Thursday, when temperatures are expected to plunge to a bone-chilling low of -26 at night.
