A young male in Gatineau was being help for a Monday morning court appearance after a 25-year-old man was attacked with a knife early Sunday.
The youth could face multiple charges, including assault with a weapon and theft, Gatineau police Lt. Patrick Vaillancourt said.
Police said the victim, who was not injured, called 911 at 4 a.m. after he was attacked in a home on Des Jonquilles. He hid at a neighbour’s house until police came.
Police, assisted by a canine unit, chased the youth on foot for almost an hour before arresting him.
