A man is in custody after 21-year-old man was stabbed in a home on Albert Street Tuesday morning.

Police said it happened just east of the intersection with Booth Street at about 8:20 a.m.

Paramedics said the man, who suffered a serious injury to his arm, was in stable condition when he got to the hospital.

Police were not able to provide further details immediately.

City traffic cameras appeared to show police cruisers surrounding a bus on Albert Street at about the same time.

The City of Ottawa’s traffic centre warned of an eastbound lane reduction on Albert Street between Preston and Booth streets. Commuters should expect delays, it said.
