An OPP RIDE check netted more than holiday revellers early Tuesday morning.
Police report that they laid a charge of marijuana trafficking after spotting a vehicle trying to evade the check west of Prescott with a U-turn.
The officers were running the check on County Road 2 at Merwin Lane at about 2 a.m. when they saw a westbound vehicle turn away.
They stopped the vehicle and ultimately seized an undisclosed quantity of pot.
Leanne Knapp, 26, is charged with possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.
She’s scheduled to appear in court Jan. 27.
