Provincial police in Renfrew have arrested a 73-year-old Peterborough man in connection with an historical sexual assault case from 1973.
Police say the alleged victim came forward in 2015 to report an assault he said occurred at a hunting camp west of Barry’s Bay when he was 15 years old.
Stanley McBride, 73, is charged with administering a noxious substance and attempted sexual assault.
He is to appear in court in Killaloe on Jan. 11.
