Renfrew paramedics warn 911 may not work, offers alternate numbers

The Renfrew County paramedic service warns 911 may not work in that region due to a Bell Canada failure and to use alternative numbers in the event the three digit emergency number doesn’t work.

Around 3 p.m. the municipality tweeted an alert to the public. “Due to a @Bell failure 911 may not work. Alternate #s 6134330907 & 6134331248 Are set up for EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY Cell phones currently work”

The county later sent out another tweet saying that paramedics are available at all stations throughout Renfrew County.
