A woman in her 60s suffered serious head injuries and a broken leg when she was struck by a snowplow in a shopping centre parking lot on Stittsville Main Street Thursday morning.
Paramedics they were called at about 9:30 a.m. for the incident incolving a pickup truck with plow blade attachment.
Police said the victim appeared to have been struck near a drive-thru lane of a restaurant.
She was transported to hospital in serious condition, but the injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.
