Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating two suspects who broke into a downtown business twice over a period of about six weeks last fall.
The first break-in in the building in the 200 block of Kent Street occurred Oct. 29 at about 2:35 a.m. when a man broke in and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
Shortly before 7 a.m. on Dec. 13, there was a second break-in at the same location. This time, police believe the original suspect was accompanied by an accomplice.
The thieves stole an unspecified number of tools.
Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Ottawa police robbery unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 4533, or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS) or toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
