Ottawa firefighters made quick work of blaze at an Ottawa Hydro substation in the city’s south end Thursday.
A security guard alerted firefighters just after 10 p.m. that smoke was coming from within a large industrial building in the 3000 block of Albion Road.
Firefighters declared a working fire upon their arrival and were able to contain the blaze, limiting damage to a backup power source for office equipment.
There was no word on the cause of the blaze or cost of damages.
