At least one driver in Gatineau apparently doesn’t know the holidays are over.
Gatineau police arrested and charged a 51-year-old man Thursday night with driving while his blood-alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
Police said they received a 911 call at about 8:30 p.m. reporting the man’s erratic driving. Officers responding quickly saw the man was in an “advanced state of drunkenness.”
The man’s car was seized and his license suspended for 90 days.
No court date was released.
