The National Capital Commission has declared a portion of the world’s largest skating rink will open Saturday morning at 8 a.m.
Crews deemed the ice on the Rideau Canal Skateway safe, and the NCC made the announcement Friday afternoon.
The stretch between the Laurier Avenue Bridge and Bronson Avenue Bridge will officially open Saturday morning.
