A 54-year-old Val-des-Monts man was killed Thursday when his pickup truck ran off Route du Carrefour — Highway 366 — near Perkins and plunged into a river below.
MRC des Collines police said the truck landed upside down around 2 p.m. in the water beside a bridge about 10 kilometres north of Gatineau.
The man, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead in hospital.
Police said the crash remained under investigation.
