Colonel By Drive was closed between Bank and Clegg streets Tuesday morning after a crash involving as many as half-a-dozen vehicles Tuesday morning.
The city’s traffic centre warned at about 9:30 a.m. that the RCMP was out directing traffic in the area, where construction has already narrowed lanes, but that motorists should use other routes.
The fire department reported that crews disconnected batteries to the vehicles involved to prevent fire and spread absorbent material on roadway to mop up any fluids from the vehicles.
