Metcalfe Street will be closed from Laurier Avenue to Slater Street beginning Friday, February 17, due to construction work. The work will also require lane reductions on Slater Street, between Bank Street and Elgin Street. These traffic impacts will be in place until Monday, February 20.
Signed detours will be in place for motorists and cyclists during the closure. Pedestrian access will not be affected by the construction, access to businesses will be maintained, and there will be no changes to OC Transpo routes or stops.
