2017 Bootstrap Awards
After a three-year hiatus, the Bootstrap Awards are back, being ‘rebooted’ thanks to the hard work of The Ottawa Network and the kind support of the sponsors below. Previously hosted by Bruce Firestone and his Exploriem Incubator, these awards are meant to celebrate the best self-financed businesses based in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec. Wesley Clover is pleased to host the return of the event at our March 7th TechTuesday.
Examples of previous winners of these awards include Shopify, You.i TV and Telepin Software. Jason Flick, co-founder and CEO of You.i TV, will be with us to give the Opening Remarks and share why he believes ‘bootstrapping’ to be so key to the entrepreneurial landscape of Ottawa. The success of his own company is a very good example of how and why we are well equipped to win at that game.
The ceremony will be hosted by Ottawa Business Journal publisher Michael Curran. We hope to see you there …
