For language itself, c# has 70% from Java, 20% from c++, 10 % from VB. I do not see any problem for the people converting from Java to C#, but people do have problems from VB to VB.NET.
.NET framework is more important than any of the 20 + langauges so far targetting .NET Common Language Rum time(CLR).
