很可能是航空公司想多赚钱，有某个自以为聪明的人想出来的馊主意。
怕人反对，就拿几个倒霉蛋先开刀。

可能和那几个地区和机场的安检水平和态度有关系。

例如，穆斯林安检人员是否会对穆斯林严格检查，是个不定数。

再例如，多年前，我曾经多次，在国内，西服革履，将带锁的大折叠猎刀，放在随身行李中，带上飞机。方法就不说了。当时觉得安检真蠢，现在也许改进了。

另外，西方国家的机场的安检，肯定有潜规则，例如，对特定的人群的安检。而这种潜规则，在某些非西方国家的机场，不容易实施。
