A crash involving a number of vehicles caused mayhem on the eastbound Highway 417 early Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred at about noon, in a simple collision between two vehicles between Parkdale and Island Park Drive.
Other cars piled into the wrecks, blocking two eastbound lanes.
While dramatic, Ontario Provincial Police and Ottawa paramedics said there were no injuries in the crash.
Police hoped to have the scene clear by the afternoon rush hour.
