The southbound lanes of Nicholas Street will be closed from Daly Avenue and Besserer Street, starting on the evening of Friday, March 24. The closure will facilitate the installation of a portable crane that will hoist units to the top of the Novotel building, located at 25 Nicholas Street. These lane closures will be in place until the early morning of Monday, March 27.
Signed detours will be in place for motorists and cyclists during the closure. Pedestrian access will not be affected by the construction. Access to businesses will be maintained, and there will be no changes to OC Transpo routes or stops.
