The mild spring weather has forced Rink of Dreams enthusiasts to hang up their skates until next year.
Mayor Jim Watson confirmed the rink’s closing through a tweet Monday, saying 25,000 skaters enjoyed the public rink over 120 days.

The Rink of Dreams — located outside Ottawa City Hall on Laurier Avenue — is one of the largest outdoor rinks in the city.
