Main Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Riverdale Avenue to Clegg Street, starting Monday, April 3. Motorists can expect some traffic delays through the construction zone, especially during the morning and evening drives.
The lane reductions will facilitate the rehabilitation work on a large hydro manhole, which is located just north of Riverdale Avenue. The construction is slated for completion in late April.
Signs will be in place for motorists and cyclists during construction. Pedestrian access will not be affected by the construction. There will be no changes to OC Transpo routes or stops.
