Scope
You will perform procedures associated with the shelving or shelfreading of library materials in different areas and collections.
Statement of Qualifications
Completion of Grade 9.
Completion of health and safety training required by legislation and by the Corporation of the City of Ottawa
Competencies/Skills
Physically able to perform routine shelving duties
Alpha-numeric literacy
Must have accurate keyboarding/typing skills
Strong commitment to quality customer service
Flexible and good humour.
Knowledge of:
Working knowledge of applicable occupational health and safety legislation
General knowledge of corporate/departmental policies and procedures related to health and safety
Language
・ Oral fluency, reading and writing ability in English.
・ Bilingualism will be considered an asset
