Leeds County OPP reports that officers nabbed a motorist who fled from them at about 182 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Highway 401 Tuesday night.
It was about 11 p.m. when OPP officers tried to pull over the speeding Ford Mustang near Mallorytown.
After an attempt to pull it over failed, several officers teamed up to make the stop near Brockville.
A 21-year-old North York man had his car towed and impounded for a week while he awaits a court appearance May 3 in Brockville on charges of stunt driving and failing to stop for police.
