A 17-year-old male driver suffered no serious injuries but his car was badly damaged when it hit a lamp post late Wednesday afternoon.
The collision happened at around 5:30 pm Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Greenbank Road and Dundonald Road.
Paramedic spokesman Denis Gagnon said the driver sustained little to no injuries, and was not treated at the scene or transported to hospital.
A picture posted by the Ottawa Paramedic Service’s Twitter account shows the badly damaged front end of the white Mazda involved in the crash.
Gagnon also confirmed that the driver is 17, not 16 as indicated in the tweet.
