Police are hunting for a suspect in an aggravated assault on a woman that happened outside a Bank Street sports bar early Monday morning.
Police said the woman was having a cigarette outside Ralph’s Sports Bar near the intersection of Heron Road when she was assaulted, apparently by a stranger.
Her injuries are serious but not life-threatening. She has since been released from the hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information that could help investigators is asked to call the east criminal investigations section at 613-236-1222, ext. 3566.
