A Trois-Rivières girl, 15, remains at large after a young couple allegedly attacked police officers in Val-des-Monts Wednesday night.

MRC des Collines police were advised late Wednesday that Estelle Carbonneau, 15, who has been missing from her home since Apr. 4, could be living at her 16-year-old boyfriend’s home at 27 Val-du-Lac Road in Val-des-Monts.

When police arrived at the residence at about 11 p.m., the young couple allegedly attacked officers with a “number” of unspecified objects before fleeing into the forest.

One officer suffered head injuries and was taken to hospital but was released later Wednesday night.

Police later found the boyfriend, who was to appear in court Thursday on charges of assault with a weapon on a police officer.

Carbonneau remains at large.

She is described as five-feet-three-inches tall with short black hair and blue eyes. She has a heart tattoo on her left hand and ‘Estelle’ tattooed on her right hand.

If you have any information about where she could be, contact Sgt. Gabriel Ladouceur at 819-459-2422, ext. 3263.
