Update: Roads open, all buildings given the all-clear after Queen and O’Connor gas leak

The City of Ottawa advises that all buildings in the area of the Queen and O’Connor gas leak have been given the all-clear. All roads around the impacted corridor, bordered by Elgin, Wellington, Albert and Bank, have now reopened.

Enbridge has safely shut-off the gas line and Ottawa Fire Service has conducted an environmental analysis of each building and have deemed them safe for re-entry.

Repair crews will remain at the Queen Street construction site.
