Ottawa police investigated Wednesday night after receiving multiple 911 calls about shots being fired on Russell Road near St. Laurent Boulevard in the city’s east end.
Police said callers also reported a number of men fleeing the area after the shots were fired.
The East District investigations unit of the Ottawa Police Service was following up on the investigation.
Police said there were no reports of any victims.
