The male cyclist was struck around 10 a.m. near the intersection of Smyth Road and Roger Guindon Avenue, near the Ottawa Hospital’s general campus. The boy received injuries to one of his legs and was taken to hospital in stable condition.

The second crash involved a 20-year-old man who was struck while trying to cross the road near Woodroffe Avenue and Navaho Drive, near Algonquin College around 1 p.m. The man was transported to hospital in serious condition.
